Who we are
Sociologyzone (the “Site”) provides A-level Sociology study materials, online flipbook reading and tutoring enquiries via sociologyzone.co.uk.
What we collect
- Account details — your name, email address, and the password you choose when you register or check out.
- Billing details — name, address, phone number and company name (where supplied) for invoicing.
- Payment details — card data is collected and processed by Stripe; we never see or store your card number. We receive only the order confirmation and a Stripe transaction ID.
- Order history — the products you have purchased and any download / flipbook access we have granted as a result.
- Form submissions — anything you tell us via our Contact or Tutoring enquiry forms.
- Site analytics — anonymous request logs (IP address, user-agent, page visited) used to diagnose errors and protect against abuse.
Why we collect it
- To fulfil your order and grant access to the products you have purchased.
- To send you transactional emails (order confirmations, password resets, licence credentials).
- To answer enquiries you send via our forms.
- To keep the Site running and secure.
Who we share it with
- Stripe — processes your payments. See the Stripe Privacy Policy.
- Brevo— delivers our transactional emails. See the Brevo Privacy Policy.
- DigitalOcean— hosts the server that runs this Site.
We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with third parties for marketing.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to ask us to correct or delete it, and to object to specific processing. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@sociologyzone.co.uk.
Cookies
We use a small number of strictly-necessary cookies to keep you logged in and to hold your shopping cart between pages. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
